Castañer

Spanish family run business, Castañer have been re-creating the espadrille since 1927.  Through the early '70s, a chance meeting with Yves Saint Laurent resulted in the creation of the brand's signature shoe, the stylish, elegant 'Carina', originally designed for the YSL Fashion House.  This style continues to be highly sought after and features in their collections in a variety of colours and finishes.  Not only do they create their own collections, Castañer create espadrilles for top fashion houses such as Hermes and Christian Louboutin.
